MacFawn Fire and Flood Restoration is seeking a Field Supervisor to join their Operations team. The Field Supervisor will work in the field (field supervision, quality control, ensuring proper documentation, job site safety), along with various other operations-related tasks. This opportunity is based out of the Albany, NY office.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Quality Control
- Workmanship quality
- Keeping a respectable job site appearance
- Following of applicable standards (IICRC) and state and locals laws
- Following MacFawn Protocols
- Supervision of Field Staff
- Job site Safety
- Techs and subs abiding by OSHA and MacFawn safety standards
- Assure understanding and completion work scopes
- Make sure techs understand the work scope for scheduled projects and that the scope is being completed entirely
- Equipment delivery for field techs
- Delivering equipment, dump trailers and box trailers to job sites as needed
- Documentation of job sites as needed
- Photos
- Measurements
- Moisture readings
- Scoping
- Sign in sheets
- Substitution of labor for field techs as needed
- Running small jobs as needed
- Taking field lead on large losses
- Customer communication
- Daily check ins with Project Manager
- Weekly Field Supervisor reports
Qualifications:
- Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Proficient in technology (phone applications and email)
- 1+ years property restoration and/or construction experience
- Ability to read, understand and execute scopes of work
- Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks with little or no supervision
- Ability to identify potential job site hazards
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends on a rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to travel to job sites
- Ability to perform frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
- Ability to sustain long periods of standing, walking, bending and kneeling
- Possess IICRC certifications (Preferred, not required; Pay scale increase available based on IICRC certifications held)
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation $22-$25/hr based on experience
